Obiettivi formativi
Il corso si propone di affrontare sul lungo periodo (dall’età moderna a quella contemporanea) aspetti chiave del problema storico delle continuità e delle trasformazioni, partendo dall’analisi di testi di grande rilievo storiografico.
The objective of the course is to tackle over a long period of time (from the modern through the contemporary eras) key aspects of the historical issue of continuities and transformations, beginning from the analysis of texts of great historiographic relevance.

Il corso, a carattere prevalentemente seminariale, è organizzato in collegamento con quello del prof, Jocteau (Storia contemporanea B). Esso ha una durata di 36 ore e si svolge sull’intero arco di tempo del I semestre (lunedì e martedì, ore 12-14).
Issues about modernity. Religion, science, technology
The primarily seminar-like course is organized in conjunction with Professor Jocteau's (Contemporary History). The length of the course is 36 hours and runs the entire length of the first semester on Mondays and Tuesdays (12 - 14)
