Obiettivi formativi
Le religioni in quanto realtà antropologiche sono state coinvolte con il problema della violenza ai livelli più profondi: lungi dalleludere il problema, esse lhanno affrontato risolutamente sulla base delle rispettive dottrine, dellintreccio storicamente determinatosi fra il religioso e il politico, dello zelo dei propri fedeli. Alla luce di queste considerazioni in questo corso ci si propone di esaminare come cristianità e islamismo abbiano affrontato nelletà medievale il problema della pace e della guerra, elaborando dottrine i cui influssi sono ancora presenti con forza nelle nostre odierne società.
The religions as anthropological realities are involved in the deepest way with the problem of violence. Far from avoiding the problem they have faced it firmly on the base of their doctrines, of the interconnection between religion and politics through the time, of the religious fervour of their followers.
In this course we mean to examine how in the Middle Ages Christianity and Islamism had faced the problem of peace and war elaborating doctrines still present and strong in our societies.- Oggetto:

Il programma d’esame prevede, oltre all’apprendimento degli argomenti trattati nel corso, un’approfondita conoscenza dei testi citati in bibliografia.
The knowledge of the topic of lessons is required as well as an extensive reading of the text mentioned in the bibliography.

The students enrolled with the old system who take an examination 5CFU have to study only the first of the texts above mentioned.
