Obiettivi formativi

The course will focus on the problem of pictorial representation, by trying to see in what this representative modality differs from non-pictorial representational systems, by considering the various approaches on the market (conventionalist, experientialist, fictionalist). The student should have mastery of some of the main theories on the subject, and also be able to present them in a thought-out form and to arrange a critical discussion on them.
