Obiettivi formativi
L'insegnamento intende presentare a studenti e studentesse un'introduzione critica ai problemi esegetici della lingua e della letteratura greca; in particolare, gli studenti acquisiranno le conoscenze e le indicazioni metodologiche necessarie per leggere e interpretare criticamente testi appartenenti ai generi dell'oratoria classica (epidittica, deliberativa, giudiziaria). Particolare attenzione sarà rivolta ai principali fenomeni dell'evoluzione del greco in età classica e alle componenti costitutive della lingua greca (fonologia, morfologia, sintassi, lessico; semantica, pragmatica, testualità).
The course aims to give students a critical introduction to the exegetical problems of Greek language and literature; in particular, students will acquire the knowledge and methodological indications necessary to read and interpret critically texts belonging to the genres of classical oratory (epideictic, deliberative, forensic). Particular attention will be paid to the key-phenomena of Greek evolution in the classical age and to the constituent components of the Greek language (phonology, morphology, syntax, vocabulary; semantics, pragmatics, textuality)

Al termine dell'insegnamento studenti e studentesse dovranno dimostrare:
1) di conoscere i lineamenti fondamentali della letteratura greca dalle origini fino al IV secolo a.C. e di padroneggiare le relative letture antologiche (per questo punto si veda Programma);
2) di comprendere, offrendone una puntuale traduzione, di inquadrare in una prospettiva linguistica e storico-letteraria e di discutere criticamente i testi presentati a lezione.
3) di saper tradurre e commentare dal punto di vista morfo-sintattico testi analoghi a quelli presentati a lezione (per questo punto si veda Programma )
At the end of teaching, students will have to demonstrate:
1) that they are familiar with the fundamental features of Greek literature from its origins until the 4th century B.C. and have mastered its anthological readings (for this point see the Examination Program);
2) to understand, by offering a precise translation, to frame a linguistic and historical-literary perspective and to critically discuss the texts presented in class.
3) to know how to translate and comment from a morpho-syntactic point of view texts similar to those presented in class (for this point see the Examination Program)

Modalità di insegnamento
Lezioni della durata di 36 ore complessive (6 CFU), che si svolgono in aula, in forma in parte frontale in parte seminariale. L'insegnamento verrà svolto in presenza (o a distanza se le condizioni lo dovessero richiedere); comunque se ne garantisce la fruizione a distanza in diretta (verrà comunicato il link).

Lessons lasting a total of 36 hours (6 CFU), which take place in the classroom, partly in seminar form. The teaching will be carried out in the presence or at a distance depending on the conditions; however, it is guaranteed to be used at a distance.

AGGIORNAMENTO: vedasi AVVISO sulla pagina docente per gli esami - aprile.
Gentili studentesse, gentili studenti,
fino a diversa disposizione rettorale, gli esami di greco si svolgeranno a distanza. La prova scritta di greco non verbalizzante per l'accesso all'orale di Letteratura greca C triennio (mod. 2) e per l'accesso all'orale di Storia della lingua greca sarà pertanto modificata.
La prova sarà sostituita dalla prima parte dell'interrogazione orale a distanza, in cui vi sarà presentato a schermo un breve passo di un autore in prosa (Lisia o Senofonte, per esempio) da tradurre ad impronta, con qualche aiuto da parte mia se necessario. Il superamento di questa parte dell'esame costituisce sbarramento per la prova orale del modulo 2 di Letteratura greca C e per la prova orale di Storia della lingua greca
Conoscenze e capacità previste saranno verificate mediante un esonero preliminare (durata della prova tre ore, dizionario di greco consentito, voto in trentesimi), che prevede la traduzione di un testo di difficoltà e tipologia equivalenti a quello di Lisia affrontato a lezione e la risposta a dieci quesiti morfosintattici sul modello di analisi proposto durante l'insegnamento (fino a 20/30 per la versione e fino a 10/30 per le domande morfosintattiche).
Il voto dell’esonero farà media con il volto del colloquio orale. ll colloquio orale prevede almeno due domande sul testo presentati a lezione, sulla sua traduzione e analisi e sulla sua contestualizzazione linguistica e storico-letteraria.
Studentesse e studenti che non conoscono il greco affronteranno le tematiche del corso e le letture integrative e sostitutive concordate con la docente nella sola sede del colloquio orale.
Il colloquio prevede inoltre almeno una domanda sui principali autori della storia della letteratura greca dalle origini al IV sec. a.C. (parte comune ai modd. 1 e 2 di Letteratura greca C, si veda mod. 1)

Dear students
until otherwise provided by the Rectorate, Greek examinations will be held at a distance.The written test of Greek for access to the oral examination of Greek Literature C in the three-year course (mod. 2) and for access to the oral examination of the History of Greek will therefore be modified.
The test will be replaced by the first part of the oral question at a distance, in which you will be presented with a short passage from a prose author (Lysias or Xenophon, for example) to be translated on screen, with some help from me if necessary.Passing this part of the examination is a barrier to the oral examination of Module 2 of Greek Literature C and the oral examination of the History of the Greek Language.Expected knowledge and skills will be tested by means of a preliminary exemption (test duration three hours, Greek dictionary allowed, vote in thirtieths), which provides for the translation of a text of difficulty and typology equivalent to that of Lysias faced in class and the answer to ten morphosyntactic questions on the analysis model proposed during the lesson (up to 20/30 for the version and up to 10/30 for morphosyntactic questions).
The grade of the exoneration test will average with the grade of the oral interview.
The oral interview includes at least two questions about the text presented in class, its translation and analysis and its linguistic and historical-literary contextualization.
Students who do not know Greek will deal with the topics of the course and the supplementary readings agreed with the teacher at the oral interview only.
The interview also includes (part common to Modds 1 and 2 of Greek Literature) at least one question on the main authors of Greek literature from its origins to the 4th century B.C.The colloquium also includes at least one question on the main authors in the history of Greek literature from its origins to the 4th century BC. Un uomo tranquillo? Eufileto nell'orazione di Lisia Per l'uccisione di Eratostene (or. 1).
Collocato dalla tradizione manoscritta in apertura del corpus di Lisia con ogni probabilità in ragione del fatto che fu molto apprezzato fin dai tempi antichi, il discorso Per l'uccisione di Eratostene 'mette in scena' un cittadino, Eufileto, alle prese con una accusa di omicidio premeditato di Eratostene, un 'seduttore seriale' che aveva avuto una relazione con la moglie di Eufileto. Un discorso ancora in tempi recenti sospettato di carattere fittizio proprio per la sua vicenda intrigante. L'insegnamento sarà dedicato a un'introduzione critica all'oratoria giudiziaria ateniese e al suo linguaggio e approfondirà in particolare l'oratoria lisiana: si affronteranno problemi di traduzione e procedimenti utili a commentare testi greci per gli aspetti della lingua e dello stile.
Il programma d'esame prevede l'orazione Per l’uccisione di Eratostene, tradotta e commentata a lezione. Chi non può frequentare è pregato di prendere contatto con la docente.
Il programma del corso aggregato di Letteratura greca C comprende inoltre lo studio della storia letteraria greca dalle origini al IV secolo a.C. incluso, con letture antologiche in italiano (parte in comune con il Mod.1, a cui si rimanda).
Studenti e studentesse del corso di laurea in Lettere che non conoscono la lingua greca sono invitati a una riunione, preliminare a successivi incontri seminariali, che si terrà nella seconda metà di settembre; il seminario è comunque aperto a tutti gli interessati, che possono scrivere alle docenti per ulteriori informazioni. Per loro sono previste letture integrative e sostitutive della parte di esame in lingua greca (scritto e traduzione)
Anche chi è iscritto a corsi di laurea diversi da Lettere, qualora non conosca la lingua greca, può concordare con la docente letture integrative e sostitutive della parte di esame in lingua greca (scritto e traduzione).
A quiet man? Euphiletus in Lysia's speech On the Murder of Eratosthenes (or. 1).
Placed in the manuscript tradition at the beginning of Lysia's corpus in all likelihood because it was much appreciated from ancient times, the speech On the Murder of Eratosthenes 'stages' a citizen, Euphiletus, grappling with an accusation of premeditated Murder of Eratosthenes, a 'serial seducer' who had had an affair with Euphiletus' wife. A speech still in recent times suspected of fictitious character precisely because of his intriguing affair. The teaching will be dedicated to a critical introduction to the Athenian judicial oratory and its language, and will go in particular into the Lysian oratory; ; translation problems and procedures useful for commenting on Greek texts for aspects of language and style will be dealt with.
The examination program includes the speech On the Murder of Eratosthenes translated and commented on in class. Those who cannot attend are kindly requested to contact the teacher.
The programme of the aggregate course "Greek literature C" includes also the knowledge of the Greek literary history from its origins to the IV century BC including, with anthological readings in Italian language (part in common with Mod.1, to which we refer).
The students which don't know Greek language and want to start studying it are invited to a first preliminary meeting in the first half of September. It will be followed by other seminar meetings. For those interested it is possible to write to the teachers for additional information. These students can agree with the teacher supplementary and substitute readings for this part of the exam (the written translation test and the oral translation).
Students also enrolled in degree courses other than Literature, if they do not know the Greek language, can agree with the teacher supplementary and substitute readings for this part of the exam (the written translation test and the oral translation).

Si richiede conoscenza del greco a livello liceale: studenti e studentesse di corsi di laurea diversi da Lettere che non conoscessero il greco sono pregati di prendere contatto con la docente per un programma compensativo.
Studentesse e studenti sono invitati a effettuare la registrazione alla pagina dell'insegnamento. Vivamente consigliata la frequenza; si richiede altresì l'espletamento delle prove assegnate in itinere.
Il superamento della prova scritta di versione è preliminare agli esami del settore L-FIL-LET/02 nel corso di laurea magistrale in Filologia, letterature e storia dell'antichità.
Knowledge of Greek at high school level is required: students of degree courses other than Lettere who do not know Greek are invited to contact the teacher for a compensatory program.
Students are invited to register on the teaching page. Attendance is strongly recommended; it is also required to complete the tests assigned in itinere.
The passing of the written version test is preliminary to the L-FIL-LET/02 sector exams in the Master's degree course in Philology, Literature and History of Antiquity.
