Obiettivi formativi
Il corso continua il primo modulo e si propone di esaminare gli sviluppi della tconoscenza scientifica nel Medioevo, in pareticolafre in lingue volgari. In questo secondo modulo si sottoliuneeranno in particolare i contributi delle diverse figure professionali: medici, veterinari, viaggiatori, cacciatori, speziali, pittori.
Il corso è coordinato con altri corsi di Culture Moderne Comparate. Il tema per il 2010-2011 è "Origine del testo".
This course continues the exposition of the development of scientific knowledge proposed in the first part. In pareticular we will explore the contribution to scientific knowledge given by different kinds of people: doctors, travellers, hunters, apothecaries, painters.
This course is coordinated with the other courses of "Culture moderne comparate"; the theme for 2010-2011 is "The origin of texts".

Saranno oggetto d’ esame i testi letti a lezione.
Sarà richiesta una breve relazione (2 pagine, in lingua italiana, salvo casi speciali, come studenti Erasmus) su di un piccolo testo concordato.
E’ richiesto lo studio di un ulteriore testo di storia della letteratura medievale, da concordare col docente.
Per gli studenti che non possono frequentare saranno concordati programmi sostitutivi.
The texts will be read and illustrated during the course, and they will be the main part of the programme of the exam.
Each student will prepare a very short essay in Italian (or other languages, in particular cases, as for Erasmus students), concerning a short text, that will be chosen with the teacher.
Students will read and study a text on literary history of the Middle Ages different from those they have previously read.
