2. le studentesse e gli studenti al III anno che nel I anno abbiano sostenuto 12 CFU di Latino, seguiti da un altro corso da 6 CFU al II anno.Le studentesse e gli studenti al II anno o al III che nel I anno abbiano sostenuto 12 CFU di latino (III livello della prova d'ingresso) o solo 6 CFU di Latino devono frequentare il corso "Letteratura e storia della lingua latina B".
Le studentesse e gli studenti del II o III anno che abbiano frequentato LATINO DI BASE da 12 CFU e intendano caricare altri 6 CFU nel SSD L-FIL-LET/04 devono seguire il corso LETTERATURA LATINA E.

CICERONE TRA TULLIA, CESARE E PLATONE.
LETTURA DELL'EPISTOLARIO: LUTTI, TIRANNIDE E FILOSOFIA
Si leggerà una antologia di lettere ad Attico e ai Familiari soprattutto dell'anno 45 a.C., così da seguire i molteplici fili intrecciati da Cicerone tra una lettera e l'altra.
Oltre a questo, spazio sarà dedicato ad un approfondimento di storia della lingua e di grammatica latina.
Sarà possibile organizzare una parte delle lezioni in forma seminariale.
Programma per frequentanti: A. lettura, traduzione e commento dell'antologia di lettere ciceroniane caricata nel materiale didattico; B. lettura in italiano delle letter Ad Atticum dell'anno 45 (materiale didattico); C. comprensione e studio della storia della lingua latina, sul manuale F. Stolz, A. Debrunner, W. P. Schmid, Storia della Lingua Latina, tr. it. con intr. e n. di A. Traina, Bologna 19934 e sulle dispense caricate nel materiale didattico (si dà per scontata la conoscenza di A. Traina, G. Bernardi Perini, Propedeutica al latino universitario, sesta edizione riveduta e aggiornata a cura di C. Marangoni, Bologna, 1998, capp. 1-7); D. lettura metrica e traduzione di Lucano, Farsalia, Libro I; E. lavoro seminariale o lettura di due articoli concordati con il docente.

READING THE EPISTOLARY: MOURNING, TYRANNY AND PHILOSOPHY
An anthology of letters to Atticus and the Familiares, especially from the year 45 B.C., will be read, so as to follow the multiple threads woven by Cicero between one letter and the next.
In addition to this, space will be devoted to an in-depth study of the history of the language and Latin grammar.
It will be possible to organise part of the lectures in seminar form.
Programme for participants: A. reading, translation and commentary on the anthology of Ciceronian letters uploaded in the teaching materials; B. reading in Italian of the letters Ad Atticum from year 45 (teaching material); C. understanding and study of the history of the Latin language, on the textbook F. Stolz, A. Debrunner, W. P. Schmid, Storia della Lingua Latina, tr. it. con intr. e n. di A. Traina, Bologna 19934 and on the handouts uploaded in the teaching material (knowledge of A. Traina, G. Bernardi Perini, Propedeutica al latino universitario, sixth revised and updated edition edited by C. Marangoni, Bologna, 1998, chapters 1-7 is taken for granted); D. metrical reading and translation of Lucan, Pharsalia, Book I; E. seminar work or reading of two articles agreed with the professor.

Modalità di insegnamento
Lezioni frontali della durata di 36 ore complessive (6 CFU), che si svolgono in aula con l'ausilio di proiezioni. Il docente cerca di stimolare il più possibile le studentesse e gli studenti alla partecipazione attiva. Le studentesse e gli studenti possono presentare una relazione in classe su due dei testi presenti nella bibliografia del corso.
Lectures lasting a total of 36 hours (6 CFU), held in the classroom with the aid of projections. The lecturer tries to stimulate students' active participation as much as possible. Students may present a paper in class on two of the texts in the course bibliography.

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
Esame orale.
Se le studentesse e gli studenti devono ancora sostenere la parte di storia letteraria, questa viene richiesta prima dell'esame monografico, tendenzialmente da un altro docente.
Il metodo di accertamento tramite esame orale si concentra sulla traduzione di uno o più brani latini di legittima lunghezza, con domande di spiegazione di carattere linguistico e non solo, coerenti con le informazioni offerte in classe durante le lezioni; seguono una o più domande di carattere teorico-sistematico sui testi di riferimento presenti in bibliografia.
Il metodo consente di verificare in modo credibile se i risultati di apprendimento attesi sono stati effettivamente acquisiti dagli studenti, dal momento che le conoscenze di base sono già state valutate tramite esame scritto.Oral examination.
If the student still has to take the literary history part, this is requested prior to the monographic examination, usually by another lecturer.
The method of assessment by means of an oral examination focuses on the translation of one or more Latin passages of legitimate length, with explanation questions of a linguistic and other nature, consistent with the information offered in class during the lessons; this is followed by one or more questions of a theoretical-systematic nature on the reference texts in the bibliography.
This method makes it possible to credibly verify whether the expected learning outcomes have actually been acquired by the students, since the basic knowledge has already been assessed by means of a written examination.- Oggetto:
